Backpacker's Pantry Packaging
1. Backpacker's Pantry entree pouches feature a free standing gusseted bottom, which reduces spills and includes a zip-lock closure to keep your dinner in and dirt and insects out.
2. The zip-lock closure reduces cooking time by allowing you to rehydrate your meal before cooking. Just add water, mix thoroughly and zip the top closed!
3. Backpacker's Pantry and Campfood pouches are made with a multi-laminated polyester, foil and polyethylene pouch that protects your food from harmful elements.
PACK IT OUT! Our foil pouches won't burn, however they make perfect mini waste bags. Please pack them out along with everything else you take out of the backcountry.
Cooking dehydrated food requires the addition of water. Be certain of your water needs before you leave for your adventure. In addition to a supply of drinking and washing water you will need an average of 5-6 cups of water, per person, per day, for three complete meals.
