Worth Every Penny

My girlfriend and I took the All Clear on a recent self-supported bicycle trip around Myanmar (Burma) and fell in love with the bottle. We used it numerous times a day to treat the dodgiest Burmese tap water without any problems. It stayed charged for a number of days and we could just charge it up by hooking it up to a computer at an internet cafe. We often lament about the number of plastic water bottles we have to buy and discard when cycle touring in other countries, but with this water filter we had to purchase only a few bottles of water for the entire 5 month trip. One of the most inventive outdoor adventure products to hit the market in years!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for traveling in South America. It is quick and by shaking the bottle for 60 sceonds all of the water passes by the UV light for good treatment. It is a little heavy for backpacking though.

It was way better than I imagined!

Comments about All Clear Water Purifier:

We were able to haul less water weight and enjoy unbeliebaly great water while hiking in the Sierra. There is nothing better than cold pure and clean water. The Camelbak UV purifer provides that psychological support that you are safe. We drank over 10, 750ml on our two day outing and loved it. It will always be in my pack.
