Love this shirt. It is very soft, comfortable and warm and it performed better than I hoped it would while hiking up and down hills in Dutch Harbor this December. Kept me warm and breathed nicely so I didn't overheat. The only reason I give this 4/5 starts is due to the price. I got mine on sale and felt that it was worth the [$], but I think it is too expensive for a base layer at full price.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
