Description

The Fjallraven Cardiagn No. 4 is a timeless woollen cardigan with reinforcements in G-1000 Eco at the shoulders, front and elbows. Made from merino wool that has been knitted to make a compact, durable fabric that insulates even when damp. The knitting technique used was previously common in army sweaters and is today used in garments for professionals working in demanding environments. The G-1000 sections include the lower front where there are two large top-loaded pockets with flaps. Full-length zipper at the front with a protective flap against the chin. Standing collar that keeps the neck warm. Details made from vegetable-tanned leather. Cardigan No. 4 works both as an insulating middle layer under a shell jacket or by itself on warmer days. Its simple design makes it suitable for both mountain cabins and more urban environments. Part of the Fjällräven Numbers Collection.

    About Fjallraven

    Fjallraven
Fjallraven means Arctic Fox in Swedish, honoring the small and highly adaptable predator that lives in the Swedish mountains under the harshest conditions. The fundamental idea is to provide functional, durable, and timeless equipment to make the outdoors more enjoyable for all. In the 1950's, 14 year-old Aringke Nordin from Northern Sweden spent more time outdoors than indoors. After many long treks in the mountains, Nordin decided the backpacks at the time were unsatisfactory and took matters into his own hands by building a wooden frame. Nordin's innovation quickly caught on and in 1960 Fjallraven became the first to commercially make and distribute framed backpacks.
