Description

Optimized for trad cragging and long days in the vertical, the Chaos harness balances comfort and features without weighing you down. We designed the Chaos’ lightweight, low-profile bullhorn-shaped waist with Kinetic Core Construction, which uses multiple strands of Vectran spread across the harness and sandwiched spread between taffeta and lightweight foam, and added a breathable padded lumbar insert to provide top-notch comfort on hanging belays and multi-pitch routes.

Comments about Black Diamond Chaos Harness:

This harness is great for several reasons:

1. It manages to be lightweight AND comfortable (usually it's one or the other) thanks to BD's "kinetic core construction.
2. The rear haul loop holds about 2700 lbs of force - enough to tow a small car - if that's what you're into.
4. The Speed adjust buckle makes being safe easy, and adjustments can be made with just one hand.
5. Light enough to be great for sport climbing too.
6. It looks good!

This harness and I first connected on a summer trip to Yosemite. We climbed several of the multi-pitch classics including Snake D_ke (Half Dome) and Royal Arches. I had NO PROBLEMS spending all day in this harness, and it's holding up great thousands of vertical feet later! I would certainly recommend this to my friends.

Extended Return Policy
