Comments about Couloir 0 Sleeping Bag (800 Down):

I've had this bag for two years now and have never been disappointed with its ability to keep me warm in cold conditions. The only downside to this bag is that it is slightly bulky when packed, but not many other 0 degree bags pack smaller.

Comments about Couloir 0 Sleeping Bag (800 Down):

I have owned this bag for about 2 years now. It's been terrific in even the coldest weather I have subjected it to! In New Mexico, at 8000 feet, we spent some windy, stormy days in a tarptent, with temps down around 5F, and this bag was so warm I had to vent it, even tho I was only wearing a tshirt and underwear! I love Marmot bags- they are experts in that area, and I have a great deal of respect for what they do. Thanks Marmot!! =) I will be purchasing my THIRD Marmot bag this next weekend, an Arroyo, to match my Coulior and Helium bags.

Comments about Couloir 0 Sleeping Bag (800 Down):

I got this bag to be a lighter warmer weather bag than my 40 below Marmot CMW. It is cut the same, goes to zero degrees, but has a casing that lets you see the darkest down feathers below, which is a minor con. I used it mountaineering and found it to be effective even though we had 3 days of rain. This bag is well made and warm, and cut bigger than the lithium that replaces it. Being over 6 foot and 225, this was a must. I highly recommend it. Another member of my team had a very nice 15 degree down REI bag that required him to wear his clothes at night to stay warm enough. Since it rained, his clothes where wet, the bag got wet and he froze. I took mine off to dry, because this bag was warm enough without them.

            About Marmot

In April 1971, Eric Reynolds and Dave Huntley were in Alaska's Juneau Icefield where the idea of a Marmot Club began. The name 'Marmot' refers to a group of highly social, large ground squirrels that live in mountainous areas. To become a Marmot, you had to climb a glaciated peak with another Marmot. That summer and over the next two years, Eric and Dave began making prototypes of down products in their dorm room in addition to establishing the Marmot Club. Marmot has grown quite a bit, but one thing has never changed: the commitment to designing the highest quality performance product. Marmot has become widely recognized as one of the premier outdoor gear and clothing brands in the world today.
