The Pants are basicly very good. I've wear them once so far for regular hike. They are comfortable however there might be more room in upper part (for thighs). Pockets' deep is perfect (not too deep).

I wore my Cruz Convertable Pants all four days of my four day and three night backpacking trip. They breath exceptionally well under my Marmot rain pants when I was backpacking in the rain, snow, and sleet that I encountered during my trip. The fit was perfect for me and the pants were very comfortable to wear. I really appreciate the short length - I did not have to use rubber bands to keep my pants from dragging the ground.
