I've just purchased this tent from Campsaver and couldn't wait to try setting it up. I bought this tent for bicycle touring with the possibility of "wild" camping on the route and for possible use in rainy, cold weather.

With its external frame, it sets up quickly, is double walled and is designed to set up dry in rainy weather. The fly is full and extends close to the ground but still allows a certain amount of ventilation ... hopefully not too much. The vestibule appears adequate for at least one if not two backpacks. The interior is very roomy for one person and should be adequate for two people under 6 feet and not overly large framed.

The tent has adequate stakes for staking out floor and guys. They are light weight and V-shaped but only about 4 inches long. A person might want to upgrade them to heavier stakes for windy conditions. I don't know how well they will hold up in those conditions.

There is a ventilation flap at the foot of the inner tent which is light weight fabric. This flap is closed with velcro patches which might be a source of "too much" ventilation. I would have designed this with zipper closure. We'll see how it works. The door to the inner tent is D shaped and packs into a mesh pouch to the side. It also has an upper flap which can be lowered with no-see-um mesh for ventilation in warmer weather.

As mentioned I bought this for cycle touring in the Southeast for colder, rainy weather we might experience during winter months. It's designed to fit into bicycle panniers at 15+ inches in length. The bathtub floor appears to be well designed and should keep the interior dry unless pitched in a stream bed.

The dark green color should do well in "wild" camping where one might not want to light up the countryside with an orange tent.

I bought it for one person use and it's more than adequate for that purpose;should be able to put four panniers, trunk pack and handlebar bag inside tent with plenty of room left over. It sets up with an approximate 4 x 12 footprint with an approximate 40 inch exterior height and about 38 or 39 inch inner tent height.

It appears to be just what I was looking for. Hopefully, it will meet my expectations in cold, rainy weather.
