good helmet that feels light and fits nicely, but the two adjustable straps on the back were digging into my head and causing a bit of discomfort after about halfway through a full day of climbing. just keep in mind, it may start getting a bit annoying after wearing it for a while

I bought this helmet for caving and I have been very happy so far with the performance. It has saved my dome several times already!
It's very lightweight, even on 8 hours trips it doesn't bother me.
The clips hold my head lamp very well.
The only complaint I have is the adjustment system. I can get the perfect fit, but it seems like over time the straps in the back do loosen up and I had to tighten the back several times. This so far was only a problem on the 8-hour trek, for 2-3 hours at a time it was just fine.
Using my muddy, caving hands to tighten the the helmet was a bit of an annoyance (and added mud to my hair) but I'm still very happy with this helmet. I recommend it for caving, rock climbing, kayaking... any sport where you need to protect your head!

First test out of the Gate with my first climbing helmet was Longs Peak Rocky Mountain National Park. I have a rather large head and it fit nicely even with beanie! the straps almost interfere with my ears but not an issue. The vents helped out alot, in the sun I had them down until we hit the windy ridge and i closed it even while wearing bulky gloves. For the approach it was strapped to by pack so had all sorts of "run ins" with rock when I tossed my pack on the ground to rest and it doesnt show a single scratch. Very durable and very intense looking, I am pumped to use it on snow and ice climbs this winter! Highly Recommend!
