Got this one and the Sea to Summit Event Dry compression sack because the stuff sack that came with my sleeping bag was huge. I like this one over the Sea to Summit one because it's almost a full ounce lighter. But I worry about the durability, it seems fragile. One of the little plastic ends on the pull tab fell off before I even used it, but that wasn't a necessary part. Also, the Sea to Summit one is easier to compress because the pull tabs are wider, these pull tabs also seem to get a little tangled up when trying to flip the lid up to the top and it takes some figuring out how to get them straight. But overall the lighter weight wins and I'll be using this one and my husband can have the heavier one! Haha...

This is a great product I got the medium. It has plenty of room for my down sleeping bag and the rest of my sleeping gear. A down jacket, fleece pants, socks and then some. It packs awesome do to the shape of the compression sack it's more of a rectangle then a cylinder so it fits perfect in your pack with no wasted space.
The compression sack itself seams very well built and looks to be durable.
Because of the construction with the Event fabric on the bottom the way I compress it is to sit on it then pull the cords tight and repeat until it's where I want it. I feel this gets the air out easier and puts less strain on the compression sack.
As far as the little palsic pulls on the ends of the cords I just took them off and tied a knot in the end so now it is even lighter, also in some reviews some people were complaining about them breaking off so I decided to remove them. They are not needed anyway.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
