Nice pair of gloves

Bad news first. As a stand alone glove they aren't the most comfortable. You can feel the seams from the padding put on the hand.

With that being said they are surprisingly warm for how light and thin they are. I've used they for commuting, snowshoeing, and throwing snowballs at my sibling. In the teens my hands were still warm as I was moving around (don't know about sitting still such as being at a sporting event). Also after throwing some snowballs no water came through the glove (don't know how'll they'll do in rain but for light amounts of water they' worked well

Although I am part of GORE product testing program, I did not receive these gloves as part of it.
I use these gloves primarily for running during colder fall, spring and some winter weather (down to around 25ish degrees), as well as biking and commuting to school and work. I and my girlfriend have both also used them for skinning.
The Evolution gloves are lightweight but still warm enough to keep my fingers and hands warm on extended runs, despite my pretty poor circulation. They cut wind and while they aren't waterproof, they do an adequate job even in rainy weather. They're small and light enough to easily fit into a pocket or stuff into a waist band if you start to overheat.
After a few seasons of pretty regular use, they've held up well and show minimal wear and tear. I'm hoping to get at least another year or two out of them.
