It doesn't get much better than this lightweight and compact airpad. I am a really fussy sleeper and had been having problems with my self inflating 1.75 inch pad. I bought this pad because I was also sick of carrying around the heavier 2 lbs pad. This airpad is 3 inches thick once you blow it up and it is really comfortable (especially for side sleeping). I dont have any complaints so far. It seems like it might be fragile so I would take care not to lay it down anywhere but inside the tent, but I have had no problems thus far.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My dog and I just recently went out hiking for my first trip with this air mat...and it worked out great, except I did not watch the weather report! It got down to 22 degrees F. This pad is not made for that as it has absolutely no insulation. But that was my mistake because this pad is made for warm weather.

As for its other attributes...it is fantastic! Very lightweight, extremely packable, and Exped's inflate/deflate valves are the best in the industry.

This mat is darn near perfect, thank you Exped and CampSaver.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
