This ultraweight tent is only about 4.5 lbs with all the packaging and poles, very compact. I could set it up with my eyes closed, its so easy -- took us only a couple minutes. Plus, the material 'breathes', so when you're packing it back up, you can roll it up pretty easily (you don't end up with a big air bubble at the end). I couldn't believe the durability of such a lightweight material. Ventilation is great when you stake out the fly. Must get footprint to protect the base against tearing and getting wet. We bought a 4 person tent for 2 people, and felt it was a good amount of space -- otherwise would have felt cramped.

super great lightweight tent. great for long backpacking trips. we used it in early march, up 8,000 ft with snow still on the ground. it was really cold. not a 4 season tent. but great for weight, roomy and comfortable, easy to set up, and awesome 3 season tent.

Excellent for backpacking due to super-lightweight. Not good for "car-camping" as come campsites TOO small;distance from fire to tent MUST be adequate or else fly will be singed from fire, as mine was, and my tent was 20 feet away from campfire on the campsite. Suprisingly waterproof, even the floor, we have a footprint which helps. Worth the $ if you're looking for a light-weight, easy to set up backpacking tent. More than enough space for 3 grown adults, however, would not recommend for 4 adults (it would be too tight). I love the view you get without the fly (you can look at starts and also the large door gives a good view). Fly is a bit awkward to put on because the straps don't seem to go quite slack enough, however, I've see worse. Make sure that you set up the footprint the appropriate way;one side is narrower than the other, the narrow end is the back of tent, and peg down footprint before setting up tent. Overall, I don't regret buying it. I do regret bringing it to a too-small campsite (where it got slightly burned/sindged) but the fly is still waterproof :) it takes a couple hours to dry out after getting wet, which can be a hassle.
