Awesome jacket. I have several puffy (down) jackets that are simply too warm to wear when it's only 30-40 degrees. This handles that temperature range much better. I have worn it a couple of times in the teens, and it handle that range fine as well. Just need other layers when it gets colder.

Awesome fit. Sleeves are supposed to be a little longer so you can reach straight up over your head and still have coverage. Cut is great. Love the material - not too soft that it snags or rips. The pertex is great.

This fits under my hard shell wonderfully, and a fleece or wind shirt fits under this great, too. Layering is not a problem. Rab products are awesome, and this is as well.

Very well thought out synthetic parka. Warm, stops the wind and handles wet conditions inside and out. I'm 5'11" 165lbs. normally a large but a medium in this parka, sleeves and body are still long for good coverage but armpits are a little tight. I use vests a lot for layering but with this design having 60gms in the sleeves and 100gms in the body I probably won't, a wool tee shirt instead works well. Active cold wet situations, very very cold I use my down parka of course but this thing is warm and light and I love it!
