So cool. I had an pump filter before and the tubing was always flying off and getting me soaked. This system is genius. Lightweight, no pumping, packs small. I'm planning to take it on a road trip soon and not have to buy any bottled water. Also the spigot function is great. FYI, it's cheaper to buy each of the parts separately as "replacement" than to buy the whole system.

I spend lots of time hunting, fishing & camping. Most of the time I pack in as light as I possibly can. When you do these types of things, two things are of utmost importance. And that is fire and water. Generally, the first thing I do when I set up camp, is fill the dirty reservoir of my Platy Gravity Works and set it to filtering water while I go about setting up the tent and gathering firewood. When I come back, I have up to four liters of filtered drinking water. I do combine it with a UV treatment, because getting infected with a waterbourne pathogen is potentially deadly depending on how remote you are. This product is a great product and works perfect if you need a light weight solution to ensure you have filtered drinking water out in the woods.
