The size fit true for me. This approach shoe got me up the direct exum with a technical variation of the black face and my feet didn't slip once. I hiked up with them, climbed all day in them, then hiked back to camp at night, and my feet were fine. This is a replacement pair as I left mine on our truck in the tetons the other weekend and they disappeared. I've looked at other pairs, but haven't found anything as good.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These shoes fit snug, very comfortable. Rubber is sticky - but still very versatile, light shoe, not limited to bouldering and approach.
So nice that I have been tempted to buy another pair now for when these ones give up!

These shoes are ideal - they fit snug, extremely light and sticky tread. Well-made, would buy another pair now just to have when these give up.
