Comments about Hanging Kit:

I have only had one chance to use the Jetboil hanging kit so far, but here's my initial opinon:

The Good - You can hang your stove from anything strong enough to support it. Great for places where the ground is not firm or flat or you are on snow. I used the kit because my campsite was on a sloping bed of moss and short grasses about 6" deep and there's no way to set a stove on it.
Hanging kit is small and light, taking up about the same room as two #2 pencils in your pack.

Now the Bad - For something designed to be used in snow, it would have been nice if it were made so it could be used with gloves on. There's a little cotter pin you have to snap in and pull out when setting it up that is difficult to do normally, very difficult with cold fingers, and impossible with gloves.
The cables can easily become tangled or twisted and you have to make sure they all come off the correct (left or right) side of the bar they attach to or the Jetboil won't be as stable. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that it likes to uncoil in your pack (see my photo of the kit packed with the spoon, this is how I pulled it out of a storage sack for the photo, not even a backpack).
The attachment point at the top is a solid ring, so you have to bring a biner to clip it to something else or a rope to tie it up.
And finally, it is difficult to pack it so that the cables don't want to uncoil the moment you let go of them.

I know it sounds like a lot of bad, but it only takes about 1 minute to set up including time for figuring out twisted cables, and sometimes it's really nice to not have to put your stove on the ground.
