Description

The Fjallraven Iceland Anorak is functional in wind and water resistant G-1000 Original. The durable weave releases more moisture than water proof garments which reduces the risk of becoming cold due to base layers becoming damp.
  • Hip-length and longer in the back to keep the rear warm
  • Fixed, adjustable hood has a reflective band at the back and detachable synthetic fur trim
  • Half-length opening has a zipper with gusset that can be unbuttoned and opened during warmer weather
  • Side zippers release excess heat and simplify taking off or putting on
  • A groin strap holds the anorak in place during stormy weather and can be fastened out of the way when not in use
  • Draw cords at the back of the waist and hem
  • Velcro adjustments at the sleeve cuffs
  • Perfect for active winter activities such as ski touring, hiking or tour skating
  • G-1000 fabric can be coated with Greenland Wax for extra protection against the elements

    About Fjallraven

    Fjallraven
Fjallraven means Arctic Fox in Swedish, honoring the small and highly adaptable predator that lives in the Swedish mountains under the harshest conditions. The fundamental idea is to provide functional, durable, and timeless equipment to make the outdoors more enjoyable for all. In the 1950's, 14 year-old Aringke Nordin from Northern Sweden spent more time outdoors than indoors. After many long treks in the mountains, Nordin decided the backpacks at the time were unsatisfactory and took matters into his own hands by building a wooden frame. Nordin's innovation quickly caught on and in 1960 Fjallraven became the first to commercially make and distribute framed backpacks.
