I'm new to climbing (indoor bouldering almost exclusively) but I'm hooked. Got these shoes after reading a bunch of reviews, and because of a good sale price - I wasn't looking to break the bank on my first pair of shoes. First time wearing them the rubber felt kind of slippery and my feet were falling off pretty good holds the first day out. The evolvs I was renting from the rock gym seemed a lot grippier on that first day. I think it's mostly getting used to new shoes though. In subsequent trips the shoes have felt as grippy as the evolvs I rented before. So hopefully as I use the shoes more they'll feel better and better. They fit comfortably, despite being tight. So far they don't stink, so that's good too.[...]

I was totally shocked at how comfortable these shoes are! The fit was honestly close to perfect. I've been climbing for about 10 years now and nothing has fit my feet better. I've worn several different types of 5.10s and Scarpas, and these fit so much better.

The best climbers know that fit is one of the most important things when it comes to buying shoes. Boreal has quietly made a fantastic shoe - try them out.

Feel free to fit them according to your standard shoe size for a comfort fit. Size down a half-size for a more performance fit.
