Just went backpacking in the snow. Night temps were in the low teens and I was comfortable in this sleeping bag. I did have a mat and a fleece blanket to add some warmth, but even when I rolled out of it the temp wasn't too bad. I'm someone who can't sleep on my back and I found enough room to turn. The weight isn't too bad but I was hoping this bag would pack down smaller. I could stuff it to the bottom of my pack from the top, but I couldn't go in from the bottom without fear of ripping out the pack's zipper. All in all I was very pleased and look forward to using it as the weather warms.

Bought this sleeping back for my son who was looking for a hooded bag. He was warm and cozy all 10 hours of sleep. The zipper was by far the easiest to use of all bags we've tried. This is the second Kelty bag I've purchased. Kelty makes a great bag for the money.

Used this XP 45 in the central Cascades (Alpine Lakes, WA) last week. Advertised for persons 6'6", this bag is a little narrow at the shoulders, and needed a little more foot room. Otherwise it performed well below 32F at 7000ft and in the damp. It is a little bulky for my pack compared to a down bag. The zipper snags and could be 4" longer. Otherwise this is a keeper.
