I bought this for my Marcy (NY) backpacking.
The reason I picked was it had lots of good reviews.
It was not about to deliver in time for my trip so I called and Campsaver.com customer service rep upgraded to expedite service. Therefore, I could bring my snowshoes to Marcy.

I use these for snow shoeing up mountains in the Rockies.
They are lightweight and have great traction.
I found the buckles a little difficult to do up and take off at first, especially if it is very cold, but with practice and wear it improved

I've taken these snowshoes out once so far on an easy snowshoe hike consisting of some slopes and bootpack. They have great traction and I found them easy to put on. I was considering getting the men's version but am glad I went with the narrower women's version. They seem robust enough to stand up to tough trips.
