Comments about Louisiana Red Beans & Rice - 2 Person:

A man can only stand so many packs of ramen or instant potatoes, so I decided to get a variety of meals and try them out.

The red beans & rice require 2.5 cups of water to perpare, are ready in about 10 minutes, and come packed with spicy flavorful goodness. This was one of the few meals I've tried that actually deserve the "spicy" description - most times I end up thinking I should have brought my own pepper to help things along.

Like most 2-serving entrees, this was a good size meal for a single person after a day of hiking. If you want to share, bring something else to eat along with the entree. The only negative was that after preparation the meal was much more soup-like than I expected. I was really hoping for more rice in the package, and I'm not sure why this wasn't the case. Maybe less water would work for this meal - not sure what that would do to the flavors though.

All in all - this was still a great meal at a great price.
