I bought this jacket for an upcoming trip to Spain. We will be in the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa in September and I wanted a lightweight jacket that would work for hiking if the weather is cool and would also be stylish enough to wear out in the evening in the cities we visit. This jacket is lightweight, warm enough for fall and even looks great over a dress. It is not bulky like some down jackets. I am 5'10", 130 lbs and I ordered a medium which is perfect. Both the body and sleeves are long enough as well. I have not actually worn the jacket yet so I can't comment on durability but it looks well made.

Couldn't move arms yet mid-section 2 big

I am 5'6" in good shape and trim so I bought a Small. The arm length was fine but the arm holes were tiny. I could barely move my arms. The midsection fit pretty well though could have been a bit more snug. I gave it to a friend who doesn't excercise and has skinny arms and a bit of a belly - fit her perfectly. Very strange for an "athletic" jacket.

But, on the good side, it was light as a feather and beautiful. I wanted very badly for it to fit.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
