Montane's North Star Down Jacket is encased in a highly water resistant and windproof shell its built for versatility in that it's light enough and warm enough to be used in a multitude of situations.

Exceptionally high quality Ukrainian goose down
Active cut with slight drop tail
Stitch through construction with midi baffles
Roll-away hood with wired peak and volume adjuster
Single-hand operated non-whip face aperture draw-cords
Full length reversed, baffled two-way front zip
Chest security pocket
Two hand-warmer pockets with reversed zips
Part elasticated self fabric cuffs with hook and loop adjustment
MONTANE® logo reflective trim
Single-hand operated, adjustable elasticated draw-cord hem
Supplied with waterproof storage / stuff sac
As with all MONTANE® clothing, FREEFLOW® fabric contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier to keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this.
Down clothing ideally needs to be handwashed with care.
Wash in a mild soap in warm water 40C/110F. MONTANE® recommends Nikwax Tec Wash.
DO NOT use fabric softeners, bleach or liquid detergent.
Rinse the product thoroughly after washing to remove any soap traces.
You must dry the product carefully in a tumble drier on a cool setting. Check regularly that the product is drying well and turn inside out. Never dry clean.
It will take some time to dry a down product thoroughly, even if the outer fabric is dry the down may not be.
MONTANE® recommends a professional cleaning service if in any doubt.

I'm 5'10", 170 lbs with a 33" waist... always right between sizes (long arms and wide shoulders). Great jacket, amazing customer service. I bought an XL and it fit perfectly - a tiny bit long in the torso but still nice. I'm 6'3, 43" chest, and 200lbs.
I weight 80 kg and height 1,84m so I ordered the L size ( as other reviews saud that it runs short) and it fits great. The quality is also very high and it looks great with that athletic cut, i totally recomend this jacket.
Got this to replace my giant Columbia parka that weighs at least 6X more. I bought a medium, fits great but not perfect. I am roughly 6ft tall, slim at about 155lbs.
I wore it at two extreme scenarios: a crisp -31F (-35C) morning with a longsleeve shirt(not a thermal one) and MH Monkeyman. I was comfortable but with the fleece it seemed too tight in the sleeves of the jacket.

Questions & Answers for Montane North Star Jacket - Men's
The Montane Jacket measures 23 inches in the sleeve from the arm-pit to the wrist cuff. It measures 31 inches on the back from the seam on the neck to the waist hem. These measurments were taken with the jacket flat, not on a person.
