This jacket ended my search for the perfect puffy! It runs small, lean and long. Therefore, as a 6' size 12, the XL fits perfectly. XL's in other makes would fit me like a tent, but the lengths would be right. The fit is flattering, the down is well-distributed, and it is extremely warm and lightweight. Perfect for daily winter use in Maine and for backcountry adventures.

The hood rolls up, but not easily or discreetly enough to bother. Having the hood at the ready is a great temperature regulator, though.

Superior to the Marmot, Mountain Hardware and Patagonia 800+ fill powers in weight:warmth ratio, fit, and apparent quality.
