All Trangia stoves are good kit. Most people that use them are of the ultra light weight types. To meet its full potential many if not most make their own custom pot stands/wind screens as they can be very compact and light. Check for plans on the net. Mine is a piece of thin sheet metal with vent holes that took 10 minutes to make and wraps around a nalgene bottle for storage. I bought this item knowing that the stand was larger and heavier then what I would carry around. It (the stand) is very sturdy and I use it for a full size coffee pot out back in our cigar area. I use the burner in my homemade kit to use with small pot for carrying around.

In retirement, my wife and I like to go for long walks in the woods. We like to enjoy our our tea/coffee hot and fresh. This little stove lets us heat water when we're deep in the woods and make a cup. Excellent product!
