Excellent Travel Carry On

I was in search of the perfect carry on bag for international travel and decided on the Farpoint 40. The bag is well designed and made with sturdy materials. I purchased this bag in charcoal and it looks much better than the photo online, more of a gray multi tone color, attractive and inconspicuous. The laptop sleeve is perfect for my 15.4" laptop and the interior is roomy enough for short or long term trips depending on how you pack/ travel.

I used this bag for a 2 month trip to Europe and it fit in every plane carry on compartment. I fit a pair of pants, 6 shirts, a pair of shorts, 6 pairs of underwear, 6 pairs of socks, travel book, laptop, power adapter, small towel, phone charger, toiletries, and hung an extra pair of shoes on the outside with a carabiner.

This is as large a bag as you can really carry on anywhere without having to check it. You can cinch the bag down when not full or pack it to maximum carry on when full. It's easy to throw on your back and walk long distances as well, and I did often.

My main complaint really is I wish the shoulder straps had more padding, that would have given the bag 5 stars instead of 4. I would walk several miles with the bag fully loaded and it was fine, but sturdier, better padded shoulder straps would have been my preference. Also when the bag is fully packed the water bottle sleeves on the outside become too tight to use. They would have been much better placed on the side on the bag.

As is, I highly recommend this bag for international travel.
