This thing was super fun to use. A friend and I took a big ol' spring break trip to the Grand Canyon, Moab, and Zions National Park in Utah and Arizona. We decided we would pack water just for the car, and use this little baby the rest of the time. It was awesome. We were in the nastiest water places and it was clean as a whistle! Tasted awesome and fresh too! Drinking from the Colorado River was way fun as well. Definitely a good buy.

Comments about Personal Water Filter:

I just scoop some water out of a river, dip the LifeStraw in the bottle, and sip. I've also drank directly from a puddle in the middle of trail to show my brother how easy it is to use. There wasn't enough water for a regular filter to uptake, but I could get it all with this one.

The very first sip takes a bit of sucking to get it to come through the straw, but after that it's very easy to use. Blow back into it if it stops flowing, and after every use. Pretty simple.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
