My son spends alot of time outside fishing, hiking etc. He has many different jackets but this one is perfect for fun outdoor activities in cold weather. It is so light that we thought the box was empty when it arrived! He loves his jacket.

We were having a cold snap in Southern Oregon, and my layered approach just wasn't cutting it. After lots of online research, I decided on the Phantom from Mountain Hardwear. Just seemed like the best bang for the buck. I am 6'2" tall and was worried about the length of the jacket after reading some reviews which noted that this was an issue. Although the jacket isn't long by any means, it provides adequate coverage and I think the shorter length makes the jacket look a little more stylish. I haven't had a chance to use it in extreme conditions, but down in the teens, it works great! I highly recommend this jacket, which I purchased in grill/black. [...]
