Comments about Plus Water Purifier:

I've been using an AquaStar UV purifier for several years and love it. It's lightweight compared to filters and it's been reliable through dozens of backpacking trips in the US and abroad. The screw-top design means that the sensitive parts of the aparatus are protected within the bottle, making it relatively immune to breakage. Based on experience it will treat all necessary drinking and cooking water for one person for 6 days on one set of batteries.
