Comments about Raptor 18 Hydration Pack:

I have always like Osprey packs. They may be a little "busy" for some folks, but the fit and finish is top notch and they think of (almost) everything. This pack is no exception. It is the perfect pack for a shorter day hike or a medium distance mountain bike ride. I can carry plenty of water, some tools, rain jacket, and food no problem. My only (small) complaint is that the straps for the waist belt seem a bit long. I have a 33" waist and I have to cinch it way past in. The "tethers" are a great idea and keep the extra from flopping around, but I "overextend" them. Small issue though. The build quality is typical top-notch from Osprey. I would recommend this pack to anyone looking for a medium-small cycling pack.

I use this for more epic mountain rides. Plenty of storage for change of clothes for variable mountain conditons. I really like the magnet for stowing the bite valve out of the way and may retrofit this system on my older osprey packs.
