Great for traveling

+This backpack is a great size for traveling. It fit everything I needed for my international backpacking trip for a week during the summer, including clothes, shoes, and toiletries. (I packed light though, so if you're someone who packs a lot or overpacks then this doesn't apply to you. This probably also doesn't apply if you're traveling during the winter.) The backpack is also small enough that it's comfortable (it's not a huge, long bag).
+I like the front access panel in addition to the top access panel, it's especially convenient if you have a lot of stuff in the bag -- you don't have to take everything out to get to the stuff on the bottom.
+The secret zipper for passport/other valuables is useful for traveling.
+I haven't used the raincover yet, but I like that it's included!
+There are a good amount of pockets to store large and small items for easy access.

-The straps are a little too close to my neck, so I think that it could probably be uncomfortable if I was actually wearing it for long periods of time (I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
