I fell in love with the shoes as soon as i put them on. Love the style, the color. I am a 9.5, and the shoe fit is true to the size. I practically wear them on day to day basis, as well as on my hiking trips. The sole has a very good grip. The only downside (if it even can be referred to as a downside) is that the shoelaces get lose easily, but double knot will solve the issue. I recommend Oboz to all my friends. Am VERY VERY satisfied with the buy.

My Boot of Choice

The Oboz Sawtooth is the boot I always wear now for hiking in dry weather. I was introduced to this boot by a merchant in Bozeman after I needed a replacement for my previously beloved Keen Voyageurs. The Sawtooth works really well for my wide forefoot and low volume feet. I've got plenty of room in the toe area yet the midfoot hugs and the heel is not too narrow. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on, required no break-in whatsoever. I've been hiking at least 20 miles weekly for the last five months and the soles are still in excellent shape. My only reservation: The toe tips could be a bit beefier. The roughout gets a little worn, could use a heftier covering of rubber (plastic?)over the ends.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
