bought them for an indoor gym use and they just fit me from the start. There is enough space and width to fit my toe in without much agony and I can climb comfortable for a relatively long time.
One problem is that I need to tape my ankles as hard textile rubs upper part of my ankles.

The grip on the rubber is amazing. These shoes feel really good on your feet. If these shoes were a car they would most likely be a ferrari. The heel of these shoes feel really good and grip really well.

I have used the Shaman for sport climbing (granite, limestone) and bouldering (sandstone, granite), as well as indoor climbing. It fits like a comfortable glove, yet performs incredibly well on all areas of the foot: heel-hooking, toe-hooking, smearing, edging, etc... The shoe fits extremely well and has no gaps or pockets of air. The heel is snug, and all power of the foot is naturally driven forward by the shoe's design.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
