Not only is the bag water (splash & rain)resistant, it worked great to keep dust out of the bag. Africa safari travel is quite dusty and this bag really came through.

I own both the Large and Medium sizes. I purchased the M first and discovered it was a bit too small for what I intended to use it for. I basically wanted a large open duffel that I could throw bulky items in and not have to worry about internal compartments and also a frame with rollers to make travel easier instead of throwing a huge duffel over my shoulder. This bag does that very well! It also has an excellent over sized zipper that easily opens and closes. Its a breath of fresh air compared to some of my other bags

Oddly, my one concern is actually the size. I didn't realize how big 150L was so there is a tendency to over pack it when traveling through airports. I've easily had 75lbs of gear in it which it can handle no problem. A 130L bag would likely have been enough.

Overall, 5 out of 5. Its exactly what I wanted. Just be careful not to overload it in case you get turned away at the airport check-in.
