This is my first down jacket and I am very impressed. I went with this jacket because I own a Marmot sleeping bag and I am a huge fan of their fantastic quality and this jacket does not disappoint. The built quality is second to non from the number of pockets, their placement and configuration to the fleece type material in the sleeves and the hood which you can easily zip off.

I was a little concerned with the zipper (looks cheap) but functions perfectly (so far anyway) and best of all, this jacket works, is incredibly light and packs small. A real winner.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Only been worn a few times this season, as the temperature hasn't dropped lower than the high 30s very often yet. Plenty warm at around 40 with just a t-shirt underneath. Will probably be sufficient to wear a sweater underneath when it drops into the 20s. Ample pockets on the inside.
