Comments about Rab Stretch Neo Pant - Men's:

I thought the pants were really well made, and exactly as described. Very light. One thing I don't get about this category in general - they have no inner gaiter in the cuffs - and that's fine because for active winter use like XC skiing, hiking, snowhsoeing, etc you normally wear a gaiter over the boot when in deep snow or the backcountry. So why do they put such a thick reinforced kick guard on the inner lower leg? If these pants were heavier like ski pants and had a gaiter I'd understand. But instead they should save more weight by keeping the lower leg all the same lighter fabric. Why? Because people who do these activities most often wear, or should be wearing outer mid or high gaiters anyway. So its redundant for those of us who do. Better to save the weight in my opinion. But overall these pants are fantastic. I'll comment on the breathability after my first major snow adventure, but for now all I can see is pavement. :(
