I bought this jacket to keep me dry in a humid climate, and it's everything I expected and more! Super breathable, so I'm not drenched in sweat, and super light weight, while not feeling too flimsy either!

I wanted a 100% rain resistant coat that I could wear in the hot, muggy, damp New York City air when it rains. It needed to be thin, but also something that wouldn't let in a drop. I tested it by wearing a white dress-shirt in the shower for 10 minutes and nothing got through! I highly recommend it. I got the Bright Yellow color, which is fine with me. Also, this was the best price around.

I bought this primarily for trail running. I was looking for a good quality jacket that would fit into a sub 10L pack yet keep me warm and dry in an Alpine environment. This jacket fits my needs perfectly. Although I am yet to try it out in an Alpine down pour, so far it sheds water well and I do not over heat or sweat up excessively. The fit suits a slim person but I guess that's what most trail runners are. I like the added protection where my pack rubs whilst running. Hopefully this jacket will go the full distance. Although expensive, I think it is worth every cent.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
