This pack has been my favorite for over 4 years now. I'm a minimalist, and I can pack this bag with all my gear for a week long trek through the rockies and rarely notice any discomfort. I own 5 different high dollar packs and this one beats them out in comfort, lightweight, adjustability, durability and easy access to all my gear. I'm 6' tall and have a small torso and long legs and weigh around 160lbs. The small medium fits me perfect. I have boney shoulders too so I was a bit concerned about the thin padded straps but believe it or not, they're more comfortable than my other packs with the big thick padded straps. Keep in mind I rarely pack it over 20lbs too. Over all, if you're in the market for a minimalist ultra light pack that'll serve you well for the years to come, you won't go wrong with the Osprey Talon 44. Best pack I've ever owned.

This is a very good deal for the money. Not a perfect pack, but I didn't want to pay the money for a "perfect" pack. I tried out many different packs in many different stores, and this was my favorite for the price. So I ordered it online to get it as cheap as possible. It's lightweight, but seems durable. I do a lot of off-trail hiking and it has held up to the scratches and scrapes pretty good so far. The only cons I have are that the straps are a bit thin, so they do have a bit more pressure than they would have otherwise; but not bad. I also don't like the orange color, because I don't like being so visible to others out in the wilderness.

For it's size and weight this pack delivers very well. It expands to hold a surprizingly large load. It is comfortable, highly adjustable, and a great value. Osprey makes packs that are well thought out and easy to appreciaate. This pack is very good. I highly recommend it.
