Jacket was exactly I wanted for an extended backpacking trip. Normally a medium. Had to exchange for a large due to being too snug in arms and hips. Customer service was good but mixed up the order and a bit slow on returning funds. Large is a bit big in chest but fits great in arms and hips. The increased room will allow for more layers underneath. Great ventilation. Stretchy material on sides and wrists allow for much movement and make it very comfortable to wear during active activities I.e cross country skiing, hiking, biking, etc. Light weight, non bulky design, compressibility and warmth is great for spring/summer/fall backpacking. Will need extra layer in winter when not moving. Haven't had it long enough to rate it's durability.

Bought this for my wife as a midlayer to wear under a shell, mostly for skiing and she loves it. This is a lighter synthetic insulating jacket with power stretch panels on the sides that alow it to fit and breath better. She Had a hard time finding a comfortable fit with some other simalar jackets mtn hardwear zonal and a North face, but the sleaves were to long and the body fit not as good.
