I use the tent for my brothers and I. All are 6'5, 200 and above and we sit and sleep comfortably. My dog is a mastiff and fits in the vestibule during bad weather perfectly. Waterproofing and ventilation is great.

I've been looking at/for 4-season Mountaineering Tents since I started instructing the Wilderness Travel Course for the Sierra Club (which includes teaching how to snow camp!) I researched and researched till I finally narrowed it down to the basic 3 (you all know who they are) .. well, I have a Marmot Limelight 3p/3season and have been very happy with it, so I went with the Marmot Thor 3p for my 'weather' needs. Set it up in my living room when I got it ... read through the directions once .. that's all it took. Very user-friendly set-up (just like the Limelight). Took it out to Death Valley and camped up at 8,133' at Mahogany Flats (awesome campsite!!) It was so nice when I got there, I set it up shirtless, soaking up the sunshine. About 4:00 am the wind started blowing .. 50-60mph winds, 30ish degreesF, sleet/snow ... All my buddies are getting pummeled by their 3-season [...] tents .. but this one ... solid as a rock. And roomy! 6 buddies and me climbed in it in the morning and jet-boiled our coffees and oatmeals out of the wind and cold ... I love this tent (so do my friends!) Klaus
