I picked the bag up as a carry all for my climbing hikes. It's perfectly designed for this: easy open, huge carrying capacity, easy clean up, and comfortable as hell. I picked this bag up for cheap and I would've paid double what I did. I carry multiple shoes, harness, carabiners, chalk, water bottle, etc. Still wasn't full! It also has a small pocket on the inside and outside for cellphone, keys, and wallet. Overall awesome bag.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The ultimate kid/farmer's market bag!

Comments about Urban Hauler Backpack - Medium:

The best part of this bag is that when you need a tote bag, like when shopping at a farmers market, you have one. But then when it comes time to walk back to the car with the kids, pull the straps and sling it on your back. Also perfect for playground trips or just the day to day of dealing with snacks etc. in traveling with kids. At first I was a little put off by it being small but it turns out if it were bigger I would load it to unmanageable levels. The smaller size is also great because I can let the kids (5 and 2) carry it as a backpack if need be.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
