I am a curvy woman and this vest fit too snug around my hips...in a size L. It fit the same as the Patagonia down vest that is described as a "trim fit". If I'd known this, I wouldn't have ordered it. One positive, the armholes are made with stretch fabric--great fit and no drafts. The color was good. I like Marmot's quality, very disappointed this didn't work for me.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She's 5'1" 112 lbs. Small fits purrrfect. She wears it so much I was afraid she'd start sleeping in it.

Zero down loss so far. The small weighs 8.5 oz. You can fit a platy water bottle in both of the inside pockets. I would like to see fleece lined hand warmer pockets in the future and maybe a stuffable pocket, but other than that it's a very nice product. 4/5 because there's always room for improvment.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
