Comments about Waterbloc 1200 Sleeping Bag (750 Down):

I've only owned this for 1 winter trip. I've stayed 3 nights:
-40 deg. (F or C) 1 night and -31 deg. F 1 night, comfortable in bag with primaloft pants & down sweater

-8 deg. 1 night, stayed warm with expedition weight Kenyon top & bottom

I was in a tent, so I didn't test the water resistant features.

I'm ~190 lb. 5'8", 46 reg. and this bag in regular is plenty long and wide enough for me, even in the chest / shoulders.

The bag is somewhat heavy compared with winter bags from Marmot, Feathered Friends, etc. I knew that before I bought it, so I can hardly complain.

Some of the added weight must be from the very tough seeming shell.

Obviously the bag packs somewhat large as well, but again this should be expected.

I found the quality of my bag to be excellent. The zipper does not snag for me at all. The storage sack and dry bag are nice as well.

Subjectively the Exped is not nearly as warm as my Marmot CWM. Unlike the Marmot, the Exped has been tested for European ratings:
      Max 41F / 5C
      Comfort 10F / -12C
      Lower -2F / -1C
      Extreme -42F / -41C

It is the same weight as the Marmot, however, I could probably consider not bringing the tent with the Exped.

This will be my bag for snowy ooncitions with temperatures +10 to -20 F.

Comments about Waterbloc 1200 Sleeping Bag (750 Down):

had the bag for about a year and a half now. spent about 20-25 nights in it. down still lofts like new. item is super warm and super comfy. perfect bag if you can handle the extra weight only issue is that the bag snags ALL the time!!! one handed opening and closing is impossible. two handed is tricky and frustrating. Apart from that the bag is sensational!
