Comments about Isis Whisper Coat - Women's:

This is the fifth down winter coat I've tried -- and this is finally the one I'm keeping. I tried the Patagonia Fiona (too thin, no hood, even though it was a great fit), the Marmot Montreaux (too bulky, not that fitted, but quite warm), Eddie Bauer (basic long down coat; just not that flattering), and Outdoor Research Aria (strange fit, only semi-warm). The Whisper Coat is well made;it fits great and is quite flattering. It's a good quality down and seems very warm for its thickness (it's not that bulky), though I haven't in worn it below 18 degrees. So far soo good! I'm pleased also with the elastic around the sleeves (this is something that some of the other jackets lacked!), the hood, and the quality of the zipper.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
