All the things listed are true.
Super Weather resistance.
Great with helmet.
Warm for its weight.
Only bad I can think of is small internal chest pocket barely a smart phone not a flask.
Zipper openings on front two pockets are small and no venting on this garment.

Comments about Winter Sun Hoody - Men's:

Used it as my main coat for a June Mt. Rainier Summit trip. Had a Patagonia Nanopuff to go under if ig got serious but never needed that. Also had a light Salomon coat for warm travels.
The coat excelled at keeping my warm from the high winds up top and the colder morning starts. Wasn't bulky in my pack either.
The pockets are my main beef. Two front pockets have small zipper openings. The internal small chest pocket is hard to access when gloved and in chilly conditions. Also it is very small barely gets a smart phone, won't get a flask...
Overall good coat for repelling the elements and keeping you warm. Could do with larger pockets and pocket openings.

Technology Used In The Winter Sun Hoody - Men's

Synthetic Insulation

Most synthetic insulations try to mimic the qualities of down by creating pockets of dead air space to help prevent heat loss. Crimped polyester fibers create enough bulk to effectively trap air and provide insulation. You will find better compressibility and lighter weight in down insulation, but synthetics have their advantages. Synthetic insulators are hydrophobic, meaning they won't absorb moisture or lose their loft when exposed to wet conditions, making them a better choice for really wet conditions. Synthetics will also dry much faster than down and are normally less expensive.
