I had been considering this shoe and Camp Saver had by far the best price. The shoes were shipped immediately and arrived in 1 business day! Ahead of schedule. Awesome!

The shoe is a little narrow, but I bought it for trail racing and like a snug fit. I find the "Performance" fit Inov-8 shoes to run 1/2 to 1 size large in length. I went down a half size in the X-Talon, and could have gone down a full size. I went down a full size in my F-Lite 195s and could have gone down 1 1/2 sizes.

I broke the cardinal rule and wore them straight out of the box in a 10k trail race (Leatherman's Loop) and they were great!

Traction is fantastic! Dirt, rocks, sand, ankle deep mud, wet, dry. It doesn't matter. The shoe is a beast. It drains pretty well, too. They're a little noisy on hard packed surfaces, but no big deal. If I were running all hard pack I would probably opt for a Trailroc, but if there is sand, mud or anything loose this is the shoe.
