I replaced my Salomon boots with the new Acrux and found the grip to be far superior. My previous hiking shoe was Salomon X ULTRA3 GTX. But when touching wet ground or stones, often slip and feel like you are wearing ice skates. The Acrux boots are good grip and comfortable for me.
