The Axino Knicker adds a layer of air permeable insulation under ski bibs or shell pants. The Axinos combination of Coreloft Continuous insulation, Permeair nylon lining and the Fortius Air 40 softshell outer allows air to move freely through the knicker to preserve a dry, comfortable microclimate within your layering system. The low profile design layers easily without adding bulk, the knicker length fits comfortably above boots, and articulated patterning provides freedom of movement.

Great product for skiing. It won't be too warm or too cold when you are wearing it because of the wonderful synthetic insulation. And the strips will nofasten you waist but also your leg. It is a delicated pant for skiing!

These are made so they don't get in the way of your boots. They have an ice durable feel to them as well. There are pockets which I thought was a little weird. I'm not sure who would wear them alone. However, it isn't a bad thing though.
