Gamma mx is perhaps the most popular outdoor softshell of Arcteryx. Its very hard to find any stain or low craftmanship area on it.The thickness is moderate,inner side is micro fleece,soft,light and comfortable.

These are amazing pants work very well for skiing with another layer and hiking just as is. They are three season pants except summer when they are too warm. My current pair are several years old made with Polartec and they are still perfect shape. No sure if they are using Polartec yet. They are water resistant and breathable.
